I went to school for my first day of the last quarter this past Monday and I thought it was going to be all worthwhile. So I ended up going to the elevator to rise to the second floor of the building, and get to the classroom that had my fate written on the doors. The Elevator started to rise then swiftly dropped to the bottom level. I didn’t panic, I just said a short prayer because I first thought I was going to die, and that was that. I was calm and collected, expecting the end. Then the door’s weren’t opening so I hit the panic button and tried calling outside of the elevator but nothing was connecting. What a piece of crap elevator! I then dialed 911 hoping that the fire department could show up and save the day, but unfortunately the school fire alarm went off so loud that I couldn’t hear the operator too well. It was odd, and I didn’t know what was going to happen. I ended up with a little anxiety, but when I finally made out what 911 was saying, I realized that 911 is the worst service Ever!
They put me on hold immediately and there was, oddly enough, elevator music playing on the phone! After about a minute of hearing the music, an operator came on and asked me where I was and what was the emergency, and of course they were not supportive at all, and then a miracle happened, the doors of the elevator opened up and I crawled out of the abyss and hung up.
I then was receiving a phone call, which was odd, so I picked up and realized it was 911 calling me back. The operator was furiously yelling at me, saying that I should never hang up, and I told her “Whatever” and hung up again. So hopefully I don’t get charged for that. 911 is horrible, how are they going to place someone on hold? What if I had more of an emergency? Jerks.
