Sir Jorge vs. Time Warner Round 3

I fought Time Warner through December over charges on my account for Cable Television that couldn’t have been in my house because I didn’t even have a television set up! After fighting six different billing representatives, and then fighting off the supervisor I was forced to pay hundreds of dollars for no reason.

If that wasn’t enough, they never refunded me for their mistake!

Now their internet service is sucking the life out of me. I can’t blog because the connection is like molasses. This page takes 90 seconds to load. 90 seconds! I try to check email and it freezes up. So I’m not exactly feeling up to the internet hoopla today.

I called their technical support and they ran me through the basics. “Unplug your modem” Wait 10 seconds “plug it back in” and then the usual lines “I don’t see anything wrong with your internet”. Yet it’s slow as molasses.

Right now I’m “borrowing” someone elses connection just to rant.

I hate Time Warner.

As of this Thursday Time Warner will have one less customer. Not like they care. They have a monopoly in the Santa Monica area.

I hate this.
