Shouting

I was at work yesterday and a shouting match began. Apparently company funds are mismanaged or are not clear enough to the co-owners of the store. It’s like the place is upside down. The machine is turning but the drivers are the riders not the conductor and we’re going straight forward into a cavern with no lights to guide us.

Why is it that e-commerce has this effect? I’ve worked at 3 independent e-commerce stores and all of them have communication issues. The immediate communication in my department is solid, but the overall structure is completely flawed with the traditional business sense being thrown out the window in exchange for being more loyal to the scene of action sports.

I grew up in a broken home. The foundation that was raising me was in turmoil, and while I’m staying positive, it just sounds like a divorce is on its way with the way reactions were held in my small world of work. No, I’m not talking in metaphors of real life or foreshadowing anything of my personal marriage, I’m talking about solely work related items. It’s odd.

I have yet to be in a company that works.

My wife is lucky, Starbucks has been quite the company to work for, but at the same time…I love the tech world. I sit here on my desk and work some great things and magic and am thankful for everything.
