Ads vs. Paid Blogging

I’m considering the whole paid blogging thing right now. I do it on my other sites, but I don’t know about this one. This has a page rank and it gets linked from a few sites, and I feel like I don’t want to ruin it. I love to write, and I write here because it is a personal blog about how I feel, what I think and the experiences I go through. I feel that maybe paid blogging is going to ruin what I have on going.

My other sites are not hosted on a webhost, and do not include sql or wordpress or php, they are free sites set up with blogger and they are my “money makers”.

Should I put ads on here? What if on the right column I have paid advertising like adsense or adbrite? Should I go for that? Or should I just keep the paid blogging going?

I don’t know. I’m not sure what to do in regards to earning from this blog. I guess the right column has some room for ads that are somewhat relevant, but is it worth it? Will it ruin my content?

I don’t know. I just don’t know.

What do you think out there America? Paid blogging on here and risk my page rank? Or should I put an ad column on the right hand side with relevant key words?

Some elements of paid blogging might be okay and some adsense (as you have, too). I don’t think they will risk your pr.

Just don’t fill up your website with ads.

I just decided to have my blog ad-free for now. I don’t believe in making money with blog much, plus I hate advertising (my French socialist upbringing side).

However, your blog has a nice clean design, so a few ad-sense wouldn’t hurt too much.
