I was in the Seattle Airport and I stood behind Bad Brains, and at the time I didn’t know it was them, but I knew they looked familiar. They smelled like weed, so much so that I had to let people cut me in line because I couldn’t take the smell any longer.

In the world of skateboarding, the smoking comes hand in hand at times. I never smoked, but I heard a lot of pro’s enjoy smoking and then skateboarding. I hear the pain threshold is elevated, and as you may know falling off a skateboard is common, even for the professionals.

That’s neither here nor there, because we have here a combination of “Rasta” culture with the “powell” classic skull logo, and it’s all for the old school guys. This deck is pretty sweet. I for one always liked Steadham skating, and I like this deck because it forces two cultures together and crosses over to the appeal of art and not just functionality. That is key to me.
