I Can Not Park

Hello Everybody. I’m back with internet at my house, and a new place to live. I moved to Seattle in March and we found a great place for 875 that was very large, and it was great. But after my six month lease ran up, the management company wanted to raise the rents, so my wife and I decided it was time to move.

The apartment hunt was not easy, as the Seattle area rents are rising to stupid numbers. The further away from the downtown Seattle area, the cheaper it gets, but not by much. We finally found a place on top of a hill with a great view of the city, alongside the bay, and all is well.

However, the parking situation is horrible for one person who can’t park. That’s me.

I can’t park to save my life.

The space we were given is alongside a rock wall, behind a massive SUV. I have to parallel park into the space without hitting the rocks, and still having enough room for a passenger.

Yesterday, as I was trying to park, the owner of the SUV sat there watching me struggle with such an easy task…mocking me with this eyes rolling and his mannerisms. The pressure was too much for me.

So this week, in a new place, I’ve learned that I can’t park, the parking situation sucks, I pay more for rent, but still less than Santa Monica, Ca.

Can’t do parallel parking either… I doubt I will ever get my G2 (like the proper license where I can drive alone in Canada) because of that. Oh well.
