Back a few decades, there ratings board of America used to rate films rated X. Most of these films did not contain a lot of sexual content, but more over they carried a lot of bad language or drug usage in their films and people felt they needed to be viewed for adults only. However, this didn’t just cross into live action films, this also happened to a lot of cartoons in the day.

So while looking through some classic tune footage, I ran into this awesome video that features Common, Bob James, and Guru.

I usually don’t like the combination of these cats, but this smooth jazz beat and rhymes alongside this awesome cartoon made for such a cool thing that I had to share it with you guys. It’s really something you don’t see very often anymore, and I for one am glad to have checked it out. I’m going to have to look into Common and Guru a little more.
