The Numbers Are Down

The numbers on this site have hit an all time low. I’m beginning to wonder if I still even want or deserve an audience. I used to have a larger audience in regards to traffic, rss subscribers, unique hits, and clicks on ads as well as orders on Amazon.

A miracle!

That’s what I thought at the heights of this blog, and then….

The last week.

Even with some helping hands and greater commitment to design, digg.com, stumbleupon, and even some greater contextual writing, I’m still down…so far down that I’m not even in the clear. I’m at zero again….well not complete or absolute zero, but lower than usual.

On the positive side, I’ve had the most comments I’ve had in a long time today, and that’s pretty cool.

There are a few things you can expect from this blog in the near future, that’s for sure.

Beginning sooner than later, I’m going to be reviewing some movies on here that are not quite on the category with my other blogs. I will also be updating more frequently, and monetizing this blog a little more than I have been in the past months.

I’m also going to be cutting down on the paid reviews. With my page rank not existing anymore, there’s no real reason for me to chase the ghosts and reach for the wind. With traffic down, I’m going to just continue to do what I do.

I’m really testing my words this week, because last week I said that this blog was never meant for money, and it still isn’t. I don’t write to make money, I write because I feel that I need to. I have very few hobbies and things in my life that bring me comfort. Writing blogs is one of the joys that I have.

Yeah…I have a few joyous moments amidst the frowning of a life time.

I’m sure I’ll come up with more content later…I just wanted to make sure this thing wasn’t dying or giving off that impression.
