Man, I was on a rollercoaster ride of traffic around this site. A few days ago I had a huge spike in traffic thanks to my claims of being the king of rss feeds.
That of course surely was going to get me more rss subscribers, more people interested in this blog, and maybe get me a few more cents in adsense.
It didn’t!
I received all that traffic, then today it plummeted back to a trickle of hits, probably all myself checking for comments.
What a downer!
I was completely convinced that my king of rss feeds post was going to garner me internet glory, and instead it didn’t get me squat.
So back to my lamentations and troublesome posts about other things.
It was nice to have people see this site for at least one day, maybe I’m just not a big enough draw….oh well.

Hey there, don’t give up just yet! I know there’s lots of ups and downs. Some days you should just not look at the stats- it can get downright depressing, especially when you’ve had a good run and you think it will finally sustain itself and then it drops off ….

Wouldn’t worry at all - just keep posting YOUR stuff and just peek around and leave your mark at other people’s blogs.
That gets you more steady traffic then a big hit for nothing.
