I ended a blog. I had written a technical blog for a long time, and I was pushing the envelope with blogging, then the pr crash of late last year happened dropping my earnings on that site to none existent. Not only that the traffic is roughly 10 hits a day to no hits a day, even with search engines finding pages now and again. So while I’m not crunchgear.com, or engadget.com, I once had a good amount of site and traffic, then kaboom. I was fighting an uphill battle, and well…I gave up.
On Saturday January 5, 2008, xtechnotesx.blogspot.com aka Elevator Up posted one last post. It was a good run, it’s all over.

I would feel the same if I closed down one of my blogs.
Having put so much into them it would feel kind of momentus to be writing a last post on any of them.
Aw man that sucks, I have come very close to killing a blog but haven’t had to yet (some are starving though). At least like you say you had a good run on it and of course you always have here!
