First and foremost thank you all who have been commenting on my site recently. I’ve been making a concentrated effort to read and comment on 75% of my rss subscriptions and it’s been a daunting task to say the least. With over 1,000 feeds running through google reader, I’ve been bogged down to a certain extent with reading and commenting. Sometimes I get to all of your sites, sometimes I just miss the commenting and enjoy your awesome posts.

I just wanted to talk about a few quick updates that I’ve made on this website.

1) Search: I now have a search on this site that is done by google. You can choose to search this domain and blog or you can choose to search google from the comfort of this page. Either way it helps me and you out. You can search through keywords, or titles, or even ideas that I might have had and you remember but aren’t sure how to find. It’s up towards the top here underneath the rss feed button.

2) Updated RSS: Have you subscribed to my rss feed yet? Well if you have thank you, I appreciate that, but if you haven’t do so by clicking the rss button on the left. It is done by feedburner and is quite reliable.

3) Updated Amazon Affiliates: One of the coolest things about the Amazon Affiliate program is not so much that I get any money from them, because it is few and far between. I get about 2 cents every other month from those guys, but it is a convenient way to get to amazon.com from my site. If you buy something or are going to buy something from amazon, and would like to help me out a little, do so by clicking my banner over on the left hand side of this blog in the sidebar. I get 4% commission, and you don’t get charged any extra.

4) Deleted Blogrush Widget: I had read a lot of bad things about the widget, but I didn’t want to believe it. So I added the widget to all my sites. It works well for niche sites like my comic book blog or my horror movie blog, but not really for this one. So I gave it the boot.

5) Deleted Daily Comic Book Cover: I deleted the daily comic book cover on the sidebar. If you miss that or want more comic book related goodies please visit my comic book blog which has an rss subscription option that will send you a daily comic book cover hand picked by me! Seriously, daily comic book covers by me, even if I don’t write a long winded post for the day.
