Double Dragon is a classic beat’em up game that hit arcades when I was just a kid. I later would play hours and hours on end with my trusty NES, and would learn a thing for two from this game.

So now that I am older, I can look back and realize that Double Dragon taught me a lot!

So here it is:

3. If someone punches your girlfriend in the stomach, it’s ON!

2. Women with whips and steroid abusers are going to be very angry and are going to beat the snot out of you.

1. Vests are always cool…

So there you have it. Double Dragon proved that no matter what console (NES or Sega’s Master System) the game had some interesting life lessons.

And they say video games can’t teach you anything.
