First things first, I was on a vacation last week and while I did watch some movies, I didn’t watch them for the purpose of review. I turned my brain off and my hands were oddly enough, away from my computer.

I’ve been doing reviews for a long time and figured it was time to move things over here. That is done. But one thing that I’ve failed to add was a rating system. I now have a rating system.

The rating system is as follows:

One Star, the lowest of my ratings means that the film is not recommended for your viewing, and you should just stay away from this film/book completely!

Two Stars, this set of stars means that it’s worth a look or two at most, but do not buy it, unless you’re a diehard fan.

Three stars, the mediocre set, a film/book that is worth renting, consider buying if in a bargain bin or on a really ridiculous sale. I enjoyed it, and might watch it again sooner than later.

Four stars, very well done, better than expected and worth owning and watching on several different occasions. Not quite perfect, but better than most.

Five stars, a classic film/book, well done and worth owning at all costs, including illegally downloading, stealing, or buying from the trunk of a car.

This review standard will also apply to books that I review on this site. I have two reviews pending and more books on the way. Some horror, some fiction, and some newer films for your reading pleasure!
