02.18Wedding Daze Dvd Review
A quirky romantic comedy is usually a sure fire win if it stars Jason Biggs. This one is definitely hit or miss, and misses quite a lot, but still has a few moments of joy to make even the most jaded movie watcher enjoy some of the moments in this film.
I felt as though I’ve already seen this film somewhere, but I definitely didn’t.
The movie follows a guy about to propose to his girlfriend, and upon doing so, causes a heart attack!
We move along the story introduced to our second main character, who is proposed to by her boyfriend, and in a twist of fate she doesn’t give a definitive yes.
The wrench in the story comes along here, when the main character (Anderson) proposes to his waitress and she says yes!
Things then get into disarray as they learn that things aren’t always what they seem. Will their impromptu marriage survive?
You’ll have to watch to find out.
This movie has some memorable moments, great follow through and amazing song selection propelling it farther than the average mediocre movie. However, the formula is so spot on in the way of these types of stories that it just doesn’t win over new audiences and therefore is not exactly my favorite romantic comedy.
I will give it some major props for reminding me of my favorite film, “Rushmore” with the following quote:
”You’re in Love with a dead girl…”
If you can match that quote with the film of my dreams (Rushmore) props to you.
This movie has some good cinematic storytelling, but it’s just too predictable. I recommend it if you’re in your teens, a loner with no girlfriend or a diehard romantic comedy fan. Wedding Daze is on dvd, and available now.

It came out last year sometime, quietly onto dvd. Apparently it wasn’t good enough for the cineplex.

Hm…I think movies just keep getting worse and worse. We really do need more movies like “Rushmore” out there.

Check out the soundtrack on amazon, they might have samples of the songs and you can decipher which song it is that is playing.
