This week was like a hell ride. It brought back memories of the book, The Beast by R.L. Stine. I made it through the week, and am not really too worried about tomorrow, until is hits me in the face with a brick upon arriving at my desk.

It seems that no matter what, the turmoil rises with great animosity at work, but no one sees it. My coworkers and I are on a rescue boat, as the ship is headed for troubled waters in a sea of ice…we’re abandoning ship…but only figuratively, an heading our bets, lest we all drown.

As for the weekend, my wife’s immediate family is here. It can be a demanding thing to have so many distinct personalities clash at once. It makes things ever harder for me because I don’t say a word. My mom once told me to just roll with everything in the case of your “in-laws” so I just do that…I roll with everything. It’s easier for me to swallow the weekend if I do that.
