The Last Christmas AKA Santa Kicks Ass

The Last Christmas Graphic Novel

Alright, so everyone has most likely read or at least heard of the main super hero’s and comic book characters out there, even some lower end obscure or underground comic book stars. I mean who doesn’t know Hellboy, Superman, Batman, Robin, The Joker, The Riddler, The X-Men, Spawn, and so many other countless characters? Is the comic book world even alive anymore?

Last time I really checked into it, they were plotting to kill Batman, Iron man & Hulk were getting movies, Hellboy was getting a sequel, and Superman’s television series was full of more angst than an episode of Dawson’s Creek.

But there are a few gems, a couple of things here and there cooking for people that enjoy their novels in a format that most others don’t really care for. Drawings, and comic sans create the landscape for your imagination to see the moving of ideas from left to right and up and down across pages of artistic and urgent scribbles.

Now, as I wax poetic, think for a moment what would happen if the Apocalypse hit. Yes, the end of the world, and only one hero emerged from the wreckage of Earth….that hero….Santa Claus.

Too early for Christmas? Hold on…there’s more….

When Santa emerges from seclusion, his world is completely changed, and now he must find his way through the ashes of what once was called Earth and figure out if he can save what little humanity is left to be saved….and along the way…maybe even spark the Christmas cheer one more time.

What a premise!

Comedian Brian Posehn, scribes quite the story in this epic graphic novel, that not a lot of people that I know have read or even considered.

Maybe you should check into it…The Last Christmas by Brian Posehn is available now online or in stores, and it’s one hell of a ride!
