The New Yorker Finally Right

New Yorker June 2008

What an honest look at the U.S and quite possibly, global book buying condition.

Once again, I’m in the middle, because I buy books at the bookstore on a regular basis, but I also buy books online through amazon.com.

Sometimes, technical books are easily found online and cannot be found in stores. This also goes for a lot of religious books that I’ve recently tried to buy, seeing as though the demand for religious books at secular stores must be low, the stores don’t usually carry them. They always tell me that they can order the books and have them delivered to me, however, I can do that myself at a discount and/or benefit to someone else. (those of you that use amazon affiliate links)

The New Yorker has never been my favorite periodical to read, however when I was in College, I used to read it in the library whenever I got stuck there for hours on end.

The cover illustrates things so well, it truly does take 1,000 words.
