Batman The Dark Knight Legacy

Batman The Dark Knight

With all the hype surrounding The Dark Knight, I hope that some of it translates over into comic book sales. That’s right, Batman is ubiquitous to those that read comic books. However, this new grittier film version of Batman is NOT in any way the ultimate version of Batman in the world. It is darker, but it is based on a series of graphic novels, and comic books where Batman transitioned from campy comedy comic book star to seriously bothered crime fighter. He even battled Superman and WON! Enjoy the new movie that is coming out, but remember, there are a lot of great comic book resources involved in the Batman world that is ready for you to explore and enjoy. Even if you’re not a big fan, you can find a lot of drama and intensity in the writing of this dark and popular comic book character.

The Dark Knight will probably do fairly well. I just hope it starts getting people more involved with graphic novels, reading, and learning in general. It’s a hard sell, I know. If you’re interested in helping this blog out by jump starting your comic book collection, you can do so by visiting a few sites and purchasing some low cost items. Whether it’s Sir Jorge’s Market, Sir Jorge Comic Book Store, or just simply buying stuff from Amazon.com, you can help me keep the webhosting account alive on this place, and maybe even help pay for the netflix account that keeps bringing me bad movies.

If not, and you’re upset that you’re being coerced into buying something, then I apologize. Don’t leave so fast…I’ve got more content coming…and bare with me as the server acts up from time to time. If you have a few dollars, and are itching to spend it, check out The Dark Knight, it’s bound to be good.

I don’t think I have ever read a comic book… I’m hopeless, I always say I will but I like books best. I know it’s art too, I’m not condescending, just never got used to.

Can’t wait to the movie, it looks really dark.
