It’s not enough that credit card companies are causing people to get cheap, easy money up front. Sure, I blame people not credit card companies, but then I ran into this ad…take a look:
“We are a nation of consumers, and there’s nothing wrong with that…”
What the heck? Serious? Nothing wrong with consumption? Seriously? Nothing wrong with consumption? I wanted to blow up my television! There’s nothing wrong with that? What?
A credit card company telling us that it’s ok to spend, ok to get into debt, it’s alright, it’s just credit..
I can’t believe this crap. I give up.

That’s one side of North America I don’t like. I was trying to explain a French friend lately how easy it was to get into debt here because the companies and even the gov’ would encourage you to.
