My friend Nappy Curls and myself once stayed outside of this venue to see Jimmie’s Chicken Shack play. The show cost like 10 bucks, and we waited outside because we thought for sure that it was going to be sold out. It wasn’t. It was very cold and it was raining and we were standing outside of this huge tour bus and wished we had some food, but we were so dumb that we didn’t leave the front door. It was hilarious, to say the least. Well, when the time came closer for the show to begin Jimmy HaHa came out and saw us and said what’s up. We were all star struck. He just thanked us for coming out and waiting for the show. We didn’t have much to say, and then Lemon came through (the bass player) and we just said what’s up too. Then the bus door closed and we just waited.

I was the only person in my school that liked Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, and still think they were way ahead of their time. Too Bad we had to leave the show early.
