I subscribe to a billion rss feeds, I’m a weirdo. Not everyone can do what I do. Today one post caught my eye and it very well maybe the greatest political post ever written. The post is in regards to immigration, and it definitely made me think, it made me upset, and gave me another taste of my identity as a Mexican immigrant.

“…..The way some xenophobic individuals speak, you’d imagine Mexicans (because it’s always Mexicans to these people) stroking long luxurious mustachios and plotting which part of the USA they will reconquer, just exactly what excellent careers they will steal away from us, and how much of their fat moneyroll they will squander on coyotes……”

That has to sting some people right? It has to! I can’t imagine anyone really considering the Mexican migration on a human level and not realizing how heavy hearted the whole journey really is.

The post also goes to say…”These politicians are devils in human form. And they are our leaders…”

It’s so true sometimes, a lot of this political talk really makes me tired and when I look back at what I have come from, I realize that maybe my life doesn’t suck so bad.
