One of my favorite bloggers B from Dreaming In The Dark tagged me for this meme…and I must admit, I suck at these things and suck at following through. However, I had a chunk of time before I had to venture off to the races so I wrote this and shot with both barrels. This was not easy, and sharing 6 quirks really taxed me, I had to do 2 rewrites to get this down. I don’t like this deep thinking…but it’s good, kind of.
Here are house rules of this Meme.
1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules.
3. Tell 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 bloggers by linking.
5. Leave a comment for each blogger.
1. I bite my nails. It’s a habit, some call it bad, some call it weird, but I call it normal. I stop at a certain point, but I bite my nails.
2. I get nervous in cars. I’ve been involved in no less than 10 car accidents in my life, and one where I nearly died. So cars make me nervous as hell.
3. I love pro-wrestling. Yep, my favorite thing in the world, outside of faith in God, is professional wrestling. I even have a wwe blog, and I write long responses to all things wrestling. I have yet to find another person that likes it as much as I do, and is over the age of 15.
4. I sometimes speak in movie references. Sometimes I’ll talk to someone and just talk dialogue from movies, and they won’t ever get it. It makes me feel smart and elitist. Sometimes I’ll even speak in only song lyrics, and people won’t get the reference. It’s nice.
5. I’m conflicted about my cultural identity. I was born in Mexico, I came here illegally, and now I am an American Citizen. My mother always tells me that Mexico brought me and my family nothing, and that America is #1. My father romanticizes Mexico and Spanish speaking. I am torn in two. On one side I see how bad Mexico was for my family, and see how much America has opened up opportunities I would have never had in Mexico, and at the same time I feel awkward about capitalism. I wan to be left wing, unhinged and fist raised, but I want the money that comes from hard work…and I’m frustrated between Mexican and American. I am even forgetting how to speak Spanish, it’s been so long since I’ve talked to someone in my native tongue. I live in White America too…the northwest isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
6. I don’t trust anything. I ask a lot of questions that no one asks. Whenever I hear news, whenever I hear opinion, I question it. I don’t take anything at face value. I am completely skeptical about everything. This is odd, since I’m a Christian and Faith is based on things unseen and hope for things to come. However, I’m not blind man, I at least know 90% of all other religions and their beliefs, so if someone talks to me about an alternative view, I am not ignorant. My foundation is concrete and I give the courtesy of not attacking the other side but rather listen and ask questions, because beliefs and opinion are easily swayed if you ask questions. Never stop asking questions, that’s all I can say about this. It’s annoying, but it helps me fight boredom.
Alright, there’s six unspectacular things. Sure, I can wax poetic on how these make me so unique and great, but I’d rather just leave them as unflattering quirks in my armor. Trust me, these get annoying fast, and if you’re around me enough you’ll pull your hair out or just begin to loathe me as a person.
Now for the tagging….I don’t know a lot of bloggers that would allow me to tag them since most people that read this site don’t even comment! So Here goes my best shot…and of course, no pressure if you don’t want to do this, that’s fine…I wasn’t 100% on doing this, but I figured I would do it now…since I don’t know, It was cool…nevermind…here’s the list of tagged…I’m rambling:
and that’s all the bloggers that I can think of off the top of my head…if you you’re reading this and are left out, jump in, and accept my apologies for the intrusion and/or forgetting to tag you. I’m absent minded sometimes…especially right now (6:16 AM on a thursday)

I think you did a good job! I did a few re-writes as well.
I’ll do it when I come back from China!
