I sometimes struggle with escapism. I’m sorry, I just try to escape at every notion of every day that doesn’t have something for me to do. At work, I am usually busy with random crap that I have to get done. Not to say that the job is crap, because it’s not necessarily that, it’s just that I’m using crap as a randomized term to get this quick point across. I stare off into whatever entertainment device that I have, in order to get away from the modernization of my thoughts. I think that most of us, if you truly think about it, are addicted to entertainment. The mindless self indulgence of entertainment has consumed every waking hour of our lives. Everywhere you turn there is an entertainment device being used, consumed and understood with the simplest of mind. This blog, a shrine of sorts for entertainment and critique, alongside the internet, which is our empty canvas to pursue the reflection of entertainment via words, a modern pit of despair and typography that never ends with a blank screen.
I started a new book yesterday. It’s called “No Logo” and I’ll review it.
I can’t help but think about the generations past. Did they feel like I do? Did they complain like I do? Did they give up on their dreams like I am doing?
I know one thing is for sure, they never sat down and whined in a public forum like I am doing right now.
More reviews forthcoming, this post of course brought to you by 1,000 books you’ll never read, because we don’t read, we watch television and movies. I am guilty too.

I hope you will like No Logo. I read it a few years ago and just loved the way she explains marketing and branding… I learned a lot.
I escape too. I travel.
