The Onion is a funny satirical online news source, but the movie falls short of completing the bridge from funny stories to entertaining full length feature film. This movie is basically a collection of their already funny youtube clone videos, put into one film. It’s not that funny at times, and just makes for some mediocre chuckles at best.

I’m a fan of satire, parody, and comedy in general. However, I felt as though I’ve already seen all the features in this film. So on that note, it’s not that great, however if you’re a diehard Onion fan, then maybe you’ll want to pick this one up. The Onion Movie is available on dvd now, but it’s most likely all over youtube and the official onion site already.
