I have been fighting through as many books as I can in a year. So far I’ve read every single book I was given for Christmas last year and all the books that I’ve purchased this year, and I’ve reviewed most of them, if not all of them, on this website. I’ve read fiction, non-fiction, biography, history, and horror. So what’s left?
I’m starting a couple new books and here is the first one. The Secret Life of Houdini by William Kalush and Larry Sloman. I’m always fascinated by historical figures and what it was like to live in non-modern times. So if you want to come along and read this book too, you’re more than welcomed to do so. If you’ve already read it, good for you! I’m starting this book and then one on Latin American stories, and I’ll have my year of reading complete, ready for whatever shows up under my tree to read.
As always, I’m down for the cause of literacy, and if you’re looking for something to read right now, why not venture into yesteryear and check out The Secret Life of Houdini?
