What if every sports figure you loved, lied? What if the Olympics were rigged, and that those on drugs win…
This film proves it, on many different levels.
This film is about steroids. It follows three brothers, two on steroids, one not on steroids. Along the way we are treated to a history of steroids, and the hypocrisy of the United States and its policies.
Not just our country, the World! (I’m looking at you Canada, 1988 Olympic Running, you know what I mean)
Here’s a trailer for bigger stronger faster on dvd now:
There’s not a whole lot to say about this documentary. It’s as good, in my opinion, as Super Size Me was about fast food.
I was surprised about how many athletes take Steroids, and how little anyone does to research the long term effects. On one hand the movie demystifies the consequences of taking steroids, on the other hand it also magnified the microscope on American and World Sports.
This is a great documentary, I loved it and recommend Bigger Stronger Faster to anyone that liked Super Size Me, because in a lot of ways, this documentary is similar, but it’s all about Steroids.

Bigger Stronger Faster* is an outstanding film and should be must viewing for anyone. It encompasses more then just steroids, and the story lines surrounding the family members are some of the best moments in the film. Hopefully people don’t shy away from it simply because it is a documentary they’d be missing out on one of the year’s best movies.
If it’s as good as Super Size Me - I’m all in!
