No Longer The King

I used to be the self proclaimed king of Rss feeds. I had 1800 rss feeds at my peak of reading rss feeds from around the world. However, recently I decided to start deleting a TON of the rss feeds. Anytime I would see a post that didn’t make sense, political slander, or just overall stupidity, I’ve deleted the feed. That means that I haven’t been dropping comments like I used to, and I haven’t been reading as many blog posts as I used to. This is good for me because I don’t have to waste hours on end reading countless pointless blog posts about nothing in particular.

I also deleted anything that wasn’t a FULL rss feed. I’m now looking at 936 rss subscriptions which is nearly 50% less than what I previously read. I like it this way. I have time do a lot more writing, which is helpful since I’ve got 10 blogs running at once.

That’s about it. I just wanted to write about the current status of my rss subscriptions. I read a lot of posts, and when I see something that grabs me, I comment, and I am sure you guys do the same with the sites you visit. However, if you’re reading this and feel that I haven’t been as active in reading your sites, it could be that you’ve dumbed down your content, wrote something stupid about politics (including open support of Obama or McCain with a lack of research to back it), posted too many celebrity pictures, only allowed me partial rss feed, or put up a picture of a baby (I hate to see baby pictures online, it’s just a personal preference). Sorry.

I’m going to get back to sleep now.
