I thought this movie was a mess of turgid regurgitated pretensions. Pitt's performance was overwhelmed by tics that should have been reined in. He was unbelievable. I think its his worst role. Affleck had some moments but also became annoying. The story was compelling. I think cutting it down to two hours would have helped a lot. As it stands its a movie that deserves indifference. I loved the box cover, didn't really like the movie. It was common place to have good graphic design on dvd covers and then have terrible movies attached. Sadly, I did in fact sit through that one.
