Every Time I Die is going punk. No, this is not a joke, it’s going to be good…I have confidence in the band. The band first came into my radar as a metalcore act way back when, then they slowly moved into a buzz saw hard act, now they are punk? I’ll allow it. I want to hear what kind of sound these dudes are going to try and sell me, and hopefully it doesn’t suck.
Oh and if it does suck, you know I’ll be one of the only people on the internet to say it…even though no one is going to read what I write.
”I am really surprised at how it came out,” he said. ”I did not know that we had it in us to be this fast and heavy anymore. You listen to a lot of bands and you can pinpoint the exact time that the dudes decided they were too old for it and started going through the motions. We are not going through the motions on this record at all, it is a legit punk record.”
Yep, a LEGIT punk record. We’ll see how that turns out.
